Universal Credit statement not showing

Not strictly AIBU but posting for traffic.
My statement is usually in on the 28th (yesterday) but saying on my journal I’ll get it by 29th. Today is 29th and there’s nothing showing up. Payment due on 3rd.
I’ve never had this happen before and getting in increasingly worried. Mortgage is due to go out on 1st.

Nothing in our to do lists.
The only thing I’ve done differently is to update my savings this month, but still under £6000 so shouldn’t be a problem?

I think you’ll need to call them or leave a note in your journal, usually no statement means no payment. The savings shouldn’t make any difference if it’s under 6k so they shouldn’t need to recalculate your statement or anything like that.

I’ve put a note in the journal - actually three notes. Hopefully someone will get back to me:
Feeling anxious now as it’s never happened before.

You need to call you have a payment blocker on your account

Under the payments tab?

Limegreencar · 29/10/2024 10:46

I’m out all day today, I’ll have to call tomorrow morning first thing - are they open at 8am?

@Theunamedcat

Yes, one under payments, one under service issues and one under message for my work coach

@Theunamedcat
Why would I have a payment blocker on my account?

Universal Credit have replied on the journal. I updated my savings last week, still below £6000, as I had £2000 in back payment from pip and I know that’s disregarded for 12 months.

Why do I need to go into the job centre for this and what do I need to actually bring as evidence? As it’s not clear.

Have you got some bank statements you can access on your phone to show them as evidence? I'd imagine that's what they want.

Limegreencar · 29/10/2024 20:50

It’s just over £6000 with the pip back payment - which is £2000 , but I have declared this and my work coach said that it won’t effect my UC as it’s disregarded for 12 months.

Yes I’ve got bank statements on my phone and my usual online banking transactions - incomings and outgoings.

My partner is also on the claim as its joint - his savings are also included. But they haven’t asked him to the appointment. I can’t take his bank statements in too? So I’m confused.

You just have to be very explicit and jump through the hoops they want you to . No need for any confusion or worry, just go in and see what they want, but more than likely it will be to explain in person what you've already told them online. 🙂

@CremeEggThief

Yes, you’re probably right. It’s frustrating though and I can’t help but feel worried that I won’t be paid.
