To think there are no talk shows with all-male hosts because men eventually run out of things to say to each other?

I’ve noticed that most popular talk shows seem to have women as hosts or a mix of men and women, but rarely do you see shows with just men talking. It got me wondering — is it because men eventually run out of things to say to each other? Or maybe it’s because male friendships tend to focus on doing things together rather than talking at length?

AIBU to think that men just don’t engage in the same kinds of long, chatty conversations as women, which might be why we don’t see many all-male talk shows? Or am I missing something here?

Maybe start by clarifying what you mean by ‘talk shows’? Panel shows? Chat shows? Sports punditry?

No idea what you're on about. Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross and in the states Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon...need I go on.

Struggling to think of any U.K. talk shows where it’s all women apart from loose women.
