Big problems with Indesit (Hotpoint)washing machine

Hi I only had my Indesit(Hotpoint) washing machine for 18 months, when the drum started to shake, unfortunately I had no choice but to continue to use it, because all the businesses I called for a repair said they no longer replace bearings because it's not worth it????
In the past it was heck of a lot cheaper to replace them, than buy another washer!
However on searching online, the information I got was disappointing to say the least.
Apparently modern washers are now built in a way the bearings cannot be removed, therefore replaced.
Anyway unable to afford a new washer I had no choice but to continue washing with it and eventually and shockingly the actual bottom fell out!!
The large heavy weight inside had literally broken in two and the wire inside snapped!
I tried and tried to complain to Indesit, even AO,whom I bought it from.
Indesit would not entertain me,just kept repeating, it was out of warranty and the best they could do was to leave an internal complaint on their computer???
I emailed every single email address,in every country to try get a decent realistic point of view from them. To at least acknowledge that the fault was more than just an average fault!
I feel they should have done something more, lile take it back for inspection,or get one of their employee's to examine it.
They just weren't interested, more did they care.
They'd got my money and that was that!
Has anyone else had problems with this company or they're electrical goods?
They seem to own most of the main manufacturers these days I noticed.

They are on my permanent black list after the dreadful way they allowed their dangerous tumble dryers to carry on being used.

I'm more than happy with my LG. Nice and quiet and the programs aren't generally stupidly long.

Things aren't built to last these days max 5 years is what most are built to last. I have a candy oven and washing machine after my last appliances died after 6&5 years. They're good and cheap and I'll replace them again when they die. You just have to accept thats the way things are these days or pay £££££ for a Miele etc which may last 10-12 years but has a big upfront cost. I'd rather spend £150-300 every 5 years for a new one.

I try my best not to overfill my washing machine and never have the spin over 800 in an effort to try not to break mine… I’ve managed to replace the band on the tumble dryer a few times, it caused much swearing but I’ve managed to not have to fork out for a new one! So bloody annoying to have to replace them every 2/3 years!
