Caravan park etiquette

To think that people should lower their voices at night when outside and not let their kids scream and cry about the caravan park?!

Maybe I’m just tired from spending the past 2 hours trying to get my babies back to sleep but I just feel it’s so ignorant to be walking about this late shouting and screaming… I know we’re all on holiday but surely for the 5 minute walk back from the bar to the caravan they could lower their voices… and maybe don’t keep young children out until daft o’clock if they’re just going to get in a state and wake everybody up? 🤔

The bit that jumps out at me here is there is a bar on the site. Expect noisey people where there is a bar closing at a certain time. I would recommend avoiding caravan sites with club houses it doesn't always make for peaceful holidays. We have a touring van and I will never book into any site with a club house. Plenty of other lovely peaceful sites to choose from.

I think it's more unusual to take babies and put them to bed early tbh. Then you're stuck in the caravan. Most parks with entertainment etc have family stuff going on and arcades etc for kids to play in while the parents are in the bar and doing bingo, dancing and so on. I wouldn't expect people to be especially quiet this side of midnight. It's half term so a good amount of people will be there to stay up late and let their hair down.
