I work 8-2:30 because I want to take 1/2 hour lunch. I could work 8-2 if I didn’t want a break, it’s not difficult.

We know it's not difficult but most people can't choose their hours.

No you’re not entitled to one legally. I’m surprised at the amount of people saying you need to eat in 6 hours. I normally take my lunch break about 4 as I can look up from my desk then!

Usually a lot of work places where you would be on your feet over 4 hours still have the 15 minute paid break so I’d just eat on that if needed or seeing if I could stay 15mins to get a 15min break if needed. Usually 10-4 isn’t open and close so you can try and extend one way.

This does explain why this country is so unhealthy. Sittting for more than an hour, not getting a walk and bit of lunch in at the right time doesnt do the body or mind any good.

An hour? I sit for 8hrs every day Grin
I do get 30 mins lunch and 2 x 15 min breaks as it's a 9hr shift but that's it
