If you need to turn off your water at home. Do you know where your stopcock is?

If not might be good to find out.

We appear to have two in our new home, but the second one is still hidden (the plumbing in the kitchen is incredibly dodgy and we are making plans to get the kitchen ripped out and fixed next year 🥲)

And as the plumber took the cupboard door off when accessing the pipes behind the washing machine, it's pretty easy to get to now.
