Whoever thought giving under tens a suitcase on a leash driven by distracted parents needs their heads examining.

They aren't all that great as a parent either, very impractical. Great marketing but shit product imo

fashionqueen0123 · 19/10/2024 15:57

Everyone I know who has them, has said do not buy them 🤣they look like such a pain in the airport

Flossflower · 19/10/2024 16:03

Really difficult to open.

mooncloud1 · 19/10/2024 16:04

Fucking awful and no room either!

NotAnotherCodeBlueAt3Am · 19/10/2024 16:05

They are a nightmare! They get stuck when walking up the aisle in a plane too!

They're the worst invention ever and no parent has ever said anything different to me, so I don't know who the people are that keep buying them. We were gifted 2 when we had toddlers (they were second hand when given to us) tried them once and then gave them away to another unsuspecting parent 😂

Bagpuss2022 · 19/10/2024 16:16

We found them awful but we utilised our daughters for our sons type 1 diabetic meds and we are stil dragging it around now and he’s 24 and she’s 14

I saw a child on something really cool - very similar to a Mountain Buggy skyrider. It was a seat on top of a roller case.

Trunkis and BedBoxes are a pain in the ass. Some airlines won’t allow bed boxes anyway they restrict access to the footwell in an emergency.

Better than the suitcase scooter I was knocked down by in Asia/Dubai. 3 year olds whizzing around with an extra 10kg of weight to add to the speed and impact of collision. Horrible behaviour from selfish families.

Twentybottlesofbeer · 19/10/2024 16:34

In the old days, before the car seat rules were so stringent, our DC both had trunki booster seats. So we'd go on holiday and fit each DCs clothes into their trunki rucksack/booster then pop it straight into the hire car, child would sit on top of it and off we'd go.

The original trunki. Dreadful I agree.

If an airport was empty they’d be a great design. We were given one and I thought it was a good thing until we used it, DD didn’t want to get off it, 100s people everywhere- I had no chance of pulling her along without someone tripping over the lead or knocking her over. Bloody nightmare! Needless to say it now lives in the loft!
