To ask about air fryers…

Looking at investing after trying a friend’s Tefal Acti-fry and loving it. I can see there’s loads out there. Asda have one with 5* rating for £30 at the moment. The Ninja ones are very expensive but is that for a reason, are they much better?

We will realistically probably use it twice a week, maybe three times, for things like home made chips and oven food.

I don't have a Ninja but I have one I picked up for about £50 in Costco. I think it depends how you use it? I cook literally anything I'd cook in the oven in mine: cakes and bakes, roast chicken, salmon and cod, roast veggies, chickpea dishes, curries... I can't imagine I'd get better results in a more expensive airer. I see friends with expensive ninjas and they just do frozen breaded food like nuggets etc and they're fine.

Mine was £25 from B&M and it works brilliantly. It's not huge but there's only two of us so it works just fine. It's a Tower one iirc.

Ninja are good products but you pay more for the brand!

There's a double tefal one on offer atm from £180 to £100 (maybe less in Argos). I love it and never use my oven anymore :D

We have two drawer scoville, ninja single drawer did it's job for two years, bit small though.
Tower brand was rubbish fell apart after a month.

We love the ninjas. They can do everything 🤣. All of their products are great and there are frequent sales on their site and with other retailers. Very seems to have good deals on ninjas quite often. They are a bit more expensive though so if they are out of your price range then the Tower models are also decent.

I bought one from Costco, twin drawer, all the bells and whistles, thought it was great. Then bought a Ninja and it is far better.

I have a ninja im not into brands but happened to like the model and had a gift voucher for that shop. I choose the one that is like a mini oven so it has a drop down door and 2 shelves.
It has a lot more space than the drawers great for pizza etc. We are a family of 4.
I think they all work in the same way and I have no doubt cheaper brands are just as good.
We use it daily rarely use the oven (in fact the oven was out of action for 6months)

I love my ninja flexi drawer; it's my favourite item in the kitchen (followed by panini maker which is great for toasties, wraps, qusadillas and heating asparagus). I had a single airfryer for years and so glad I replaced it with a bigger one.

I've cooked whole chicken & duck in it (lovely crispy outside). I use it most days, roast veg, sweet potato chips, jacket potatoes, sausages, reheat food, use silicone trays and make flapjack, roast tomatoes in balsamic, couscous with crumbled feta, dehydrate mushrooms to add in pasta sauce, etc.

I love having an airfryer with a large option and small option. My DD uses it to reheat food for lunch when WFH and it's easier than an oven for young people.

I very rarely use my oven!
