ie. they dont even know if she has it or not but I have been told to 'keep her off school and see gp' because some other children in the class have got it

ds1 has had it before and we just treated him and carried on as normal, its not going to kill them is it?

I am fuming and unreasonably foul today so I apologise in advance

Bloody hell.

When DS2 had thread worms, it was pointed out to me by TA who had changed his nappy that day. (My first experience of worms and he is my third.) She was very casual about it. I got treatment for whole family from GP.. nobody mentioned keeping him off school! It's just a matter of being extra careful with hygiene. Are the school saying they can't be doing with the extra effort??!

How many children are being kept at home??!

Good GOD if someone told me to keep DS2 at home "in case he has worms" I would be spitting feathers.. I bloody need him to GO TO SCHOOL unless he's ill - is the only way to retain any modicum of sanity - and I know you feel similarly Fio.. with more reason.. you have a baby to look after as well!

I know we will laugh. I am laughing at my list to the head that never actually got read out because he seemed more confused than I was. He is away with the fairies at the best of times and this morning was without exception.

Kerrymum I am not ignoring you at all dear. I am acting on my Gps advice atm but will bear the sellotape idea in mind. I must admit I have giggled at your cello references as its a rather large stringed instrument over here but I suppose the noise and vibration anywhere near anyone arse might scare the little wormies out.
