to be worried and bring up intimacy problems in relationship

My partner and I love each other, but we’ve been struggling with physical intimacy for the past few months. I think it’s a mix of stress and tiredness, but I’m not sure how to address it.
I feel like I should bring it up, but I’m worried it might make things awkward or worse. AIBU to want to talk about it, or should I just wait for it to get better on its own?

Sorry you’re going through this, I think it would help to talk but it’s how you frame it really. Can you book a date night where you just get to focus on enjoying each others company and hopefully end up intimate later on… and then it’s a chat for the morning. “Last night was so much fun, we got a chance to talk and just enjoy ourselves and I REALLY like how the evening ended.”

I've suggested this and he did say he will take me out for a meal next week so looking forward to that I guess. Hopefully it can try and spark things again.

That sounds like a good way forward. Sorry you’re having to broach this because it is tricky. But I would be buoyed by the fact that he’s sorting out the meal, that sounds promising. All relationships have their ups and down after all and maybe this is your dip for a little bit, but sounds like it definitely can recover.
