Went for a browse around The White Company today and it smells so nice and cosy. Like a spa hotel!
However I cant afford to buy a collection of their candles and diffusers so looking for your alternatives to make my house have a similar vibe?

The Calm handwash from the M&S apothecary range! Smells like a spa and is only £5. It's the best product in the range.

Thanks for the ideas! Also I don't have a pet so no worries there

Yes exactly, it's not healthy to inhale these scents 24/7. be careful with what you buy, especially when it comes to synthetic products or candles containing phthalates for example.

Exactly this. All of these scents in our homes and our cleaning and beauty regimes are not good for us. This is true of so-called natural scents too which can be hormone disruptors. Recent studies are finding links between exposure to chemical scents and early onset puberty in children.

Honestly, just keep your windows open for a small time each day and keep your house fresh than filling your lungs with perfumes and oils.

Don’t bother with Purdy and Figg. They smell nice while you’re cleaning but you can’t smell them after. The lemon and herbs don’t smell either.

Asda reed diffusers are nice and the M&S apothecary range.

Thank you

Laughed out loud at this. Huskeys, too.

Or a twatting spaniel.

The M&S apothecary range is very spa like and much cheaper than White Company!

Agree with this.

i second buying the White Company oils and using them in a diffuser. i do this and they last ages

I do not recommend the habitat spa day oil. Smelt quite nice when I sniffed it in store however when I put a couple of drops in my diffuser it very quickly became overpowering and headache inducing (and not at all spa like). Then after I turned the diffuser off it faded to a scent of wet dog 🤮

My absolute favourite is Senspa. You can get some of the products in Waitrose but not the oil for some reason

I have been using Valentte diffusers. Good deals, staring scent and long lasting and I agree with a signature scent. So only use the same smell throughout the house. I use the lemongrass one and it’s lush.

Edited

Second these and I also use the rosemary one
