AIBU to think this is bizarre?
I thought it was perhaps a bit funny at first but being a chronic over thinker i’m now wondering if this is a bit odd?

I went upstairs while my 4, almost 5 y/o brushed his teeth before bed and I had a wee at the same time. I got up and turned around to flush and hadn’t fully pulled my leggings up yet. Next thing I know he’s planted a kiss on my butt cheek.

AIBU to think Is this weird? Or is this just normal unpredictable random child behaviour?

It's totally normal.

My son burst in when I was bent over stark naked, pulling the plug out of the bath.

He kissed my arse, hugged me from behind, and then said, "I love your bum mummy. It's enormous. "

20 years later, he is a boringly normal member of society, and this is just one of a list of fabulous anecdotes that will be wheeled out at his wedding.

🙄 You can use the correct terminology for body parts, as I have done with all 4 of my children when they were young, with the point being that these are ‘private parts’ of your body.

It’s cute you are overthinking there is absolutely nothing wrong in what he did he loves you and was telling you this that’s all

when they are teenagers and everything you do just seems to annoy them you have these lovely memories to remind you that once you were their world

What innocence is lost by telling them bums are private parts and we don't touch other people's bottoms?
