So apparently Mumsnet has inspired these Burger King ads based on the 'insight' 'that for many mothers, the food you have straight after birth is one of the most amazing and unforgettable feelings ever.'
As a mum who gave birth to 28 week old twins who were immediately whisked away to the special care baby unit, I find this ad absolutely abhorrent. The last thing on my mind was food, let alone a burger. What a low aim, and another reason to avoid this brand.
Or is it just me?

I was only thirsty after giving birth. I don't recall being hungry at all nor what I ate for my first meal after giving birth.

This is an old ad. I remember a previous thread about it.

I craved McDonald's Breakfast after DD was born.

I didn't get any food after my emergency c-section... as if I didn't feel cheated enough about not being able to give birth, I now find out I should have got toast!!!

When I had my baby there was a branch of Burger King in the hospital. She was in the scbu for a week but during doctors rounds parents couldn't stay on the ward.
I ate several Burger Kings during that week.

A Burger King in a hospital 😆

@99RedBallonz it's gone now but there is a Costa instead.
I'm not entirely sure how much healthier a ham and cheese toastie, piece of cake and a hot chocolate is compared to a burger and fries tbh.
