To say that if you live with adult kids, it's still my house my rules?
I want to set up an office for DP. It will be in the bedroom my son has just vacated. DP will be taking a lot of zoom calls in there. It is directly opposite my daughters room.
Adult DD seems fed up about it. She is often here during the week as works alternate days which can fall on a weekend.
She is saving hard to move out so I can sympathise but it's still what we want to do.

I have a Zoom shouter. He's gone back to the office because it's unbearable for most other people in the house.

I agree with your house your rules in general, but if she's trying to study herself and finding the noise interfering, surely your DH can have some sort of consideration and self control too and keep the noise down?

What attitude? OPs daughter hasn't actually said anything. OP has picked up on her feeling fed up because she knows her well but it doesn't sound like she has an 'attitude' from what OP has said.

Get her some Loop earplugs.
