London Wembley travel help!

I'm going to a concert at Wembley next year and been getting tied up in knots trying to plan travel routes with TFL or citymapper. Every route I try has a hazard sign on it for closures etc. Please can any London locals help me?

The concert ends at 11pm on a Saturday night. We might leave 15 mins early for what it's worth.

We are happy to walk for up to 30 minutes to get to bus stops or tube stops away from Wembley Stadium as I know how busy it will be there. Then, happy to travel another 30 minutes-ish on a bus or tube to get to a hotel. This is the bit I'm stuck on. I was looking at Ealing Broadway as a possible area for hotels but don't mind.

The next day we will be travelling to St Pan for the train home.

Please may I have some local wisdom?

Thank you!

Stay at King's Cross/St Pancras. We used to stay at the Premier Inn but it's too pricey for us these days but there are others.
Easy to drop your bag at the hotel on arrival and if you have time in London the following morning you can leave it at the hotel then.

Metropolitan Line straight to Wembley Park. If you are prepared to leave just before the concert ends, you should be OK to get a tube quickly - Metropolitan if possible but you can always get the Jubilee line and change at Baker Street onto the Circle or Hammersmith and City.

If you stay to the end of the concert you will have to queue on Wembley Way but trains should still be running.

Look for somewhere on the Bakerloo line as the trains go to Wembley

There's a cheapish travel lodge near King's Cross I use, about 5 minutes walk from the tube and hasn't been updated hence cheaper
