Would it be unreasonable to report to hospital for concern / safe guarding

hi
so over night a Tik tok video surfaced of a teen who is from the same paediatric specialist department as my DC. It’s a specialist ward and a lot of the children have central lines.
this video of the teen who we have been on ward landed on my FYP page.
basically her picc line which is a iv central line in the arm that goes in to the central blood steam had been dislodged / pulled out a 3 cm ish.
anyway in the video she has set up the camera, and did a Tik to video showing her take the dressing off and thread / insert the line back in to her arm, bare hands no gloves and no cleaning off the line that has come out laying on skin and then pushed back in. Obviously apart from the risk of infection there is also a risk of misplacement snd the line would be used at home. It was quite shocking to see to be honest and very very dangerous. Is it inappropriate for me as another parent to highlight this though ?

It's not a safeguarding concern as such but I am sure hospital would appreciate this information so they can monitor and mitigate risk of infection. I would, perhaps, speak to her parents first and let them liaise with the hospital.

I would flag it, to the ward not the parents. Having them do it as professionals is likely to go across better than parent to parent who may well be defensive - or fine about it.

I don't know why you're asking. You've said it's dangerous so give the hospital a quick call and they can check it out.

I would flag it. There is a risk to the teen in the video but also a wider risk if others copy. If the ward knows, they can respond as appropriate.

I wouldnt get involved, it's their business.
