Neighbour moved bin

Neighbour moved our bin to front of our property yesterday. I'd left as I normally do at the back at the edge of our pathway that leads to our back gate and when I came home to move it back into our garden (I keep it here so no one can put their rubbish in it). The emptied bin had been moved to the front of our property. Unfortunately their driveway is next to our pathway and they constantly have their big work vans and other cars blocking our pathway with their bins as well (the vans take up all the space). I am annoyed they moved our bin to the front when it's our pathway and I always take bin in the next day almost straight away after it had been emptied by dustmen. They leave their bins out for weeks blocking our access way ...we constantly keep moving them back....so the window cleaners can get through to clean our windows.

AIBU to leave bin at the back at the end of our pathway (which they like to block off with their bins as well). Or should I give in and just move bin to front every week and their bins off our path as I go round? There's no room at the front because again of all the cars. Scared to talk to them as I'm so angry about it I will probably say something I regret.

So I've reported them to council for running a building business in a residential area. I'm so angry about it all.

You have my sympathies OP- my neighbour moves my bin which is on my private property so he can swing Luton Lorrie’s onto his drive by illegally going over my property (as his drive access is too narrow to get them in).

If you own your house you need to check your deeds and see if you own where you are storing your deeds and if your neighbour has right of access. If you do own it and they don’t have right of access then continue to put your bin there. If they are blocking access to your property with vans/ skips then you need to keep asking them to move them (especially if they are on your private property). You should keep a log of obstructions with photos in case you need them and if they keep blocking access with cars/ skips despite you asking them to stop blocking the access then seek legal advice. If they are putting their bin on your private property then move them back.

Eh?

I can’t make head nor tail of what’s at the back, the front, your path, their access way. And why is it so complicated?!

I can't believe you care so much about this tbh.

I would be knocking at their door telling them to keep off your land and not to touch your stuff or there will be consequences.
