A friend constantly makes comments like “you look great for your age” (I’m only 31) or “you’re doing so well considering everything.” It’s starting to bother me. AIBU to feel offended?

Or she’s just nasty

It's too easy to be nasty, isn't it? Like so many people on here...

I'd ask her if she means to spend so rude

I think sometimes people need to be told. They just get into habits and don't reflect.

I'd find it wearing, OP. It's couching negativity in a small amount of positivity! I would speak to her about it.
She's rude and it's a bad habit. Some people get personal when there's no need, she could easily avoid it.
