To ask for a pay raise after restructure?

I have worked for a non-profit for two years. Really went above and beyond, and achieved impressive results that were praised by several colleagues. My salary hasn't changed since I started, and I was planning to ask for a raise/promotion this autumn. However the organisation has just gone through a painful restructure for financial reasons, with a few people being made redundant. I appreciate this is not the right time to ask for a raise, but at the same time I don't want to make my achievements go unnoticed. WWYD?

I would allow the dust to settle for a few weeks, then ask for a broader discussion with my manager about my role and expectations within the new structure, areas where you have gone beyond what is expected of your role, areas for development and opportunities for progression, and within that you can talk about salary bands (if they exist!) for your role. Also worth doing some research outside of your organisation to see what similar roles are paying elsewhere.

Considering they just laid off people, no now isn't the right time to ask.

I'd look for a different job, two years is long enough in a place that has no progression.

I'd look for another job, somewhere that allows that level of work and no recognition is not a good employer. Clearly have no money if making redundancies as well.

Exactly.
