Im 52 and been gamin since i was about 11/12 back in zx spectrum daysband in arcades 😄 Don't get much time for it these days due to work, managing 4 teens and a hisue, all of which indo over bradband pretty much. The only physical shops i go into are supermarkets and coffee shops and boots/superdrug. I do still liek a mooch around a supermarket rather than ordering online but otehrwose everything depends on broadband, tv, wfh, amazon, hitesl, travel, GP appointments etc etc. I'll be so bored come the apocalypse!

I’d miss it. Whatever the package, home Wi-Fi is much better than trying to use 5g from a phone.

We don’t get any mobile signal in our house and only limited out in the garden, so broadband access is essential. We have to use WiFi calling so would be the only way to connect to the outside world, e.g. couldn’t call for police or fire brigade without it. Everything we do is online really so absolutely necessary.

When I'm without WiFi, none of my e-mails get received and I don't get WhatsApp messages nor messenger messages. As soon as I get WiFi they all appear.

Yes.

I wouldn't be able to work. I've WFH on and off since 2012 and it would be impossible without broadband.

In addition now my radio, films, documentaries etc are all streamed. I could actually manage for a while without it for entertainment purposes as I have a normal radio and physical media but for work purposes it would be impossible.

I also use the internet to talk to friends abroad for free. So it would cost more without it.

I couldn’t. I don’t game but I do have to work from home on occasion, and I like my TV to work. I also order most of my stuff on line. We live in the arse end of nowhere, broadband isn’t even a consideration here. So we got Starlink. Best thing ever.

Why not just up the data limit on your mobile data? You can get super cheap sim only deals on uswitch. I get 12 gb of data for £6.95 a month. Why suffer Limited data?
