To think it's a bit early for fireworks?

Surprisingly, this year, it started two weeks ago
It usually begins around late October. I was obviously ignorant to the fact that many sales are all year round, perhaps been living under a stone?

All of the local dogs are upset, it is starting at around 6pm and only petering off at midnight or thereabouts.

It's a middling kind of area, a mixture of social backgrounds, etc, but definitely becoming more aggressive in general since covid.

Anyone else?

Im not a fan of the noisy cars but what can you do? Some come from Audi and Hyundai like that. Theres also a man with a Harley Davidson nearby who leaves for work at 7am on it every day and it reverberates the hell out of the whole street but no point ranting over things you cant change. At least fireworks look pretty. It could be a lot worse. Anyone could set them off every day if they liked, nothing anyone can do about it.

Fireworks go off all year where I am lately!

I hate them. Never minded them until I had one put through my window which landed next to me. I got out just before it went off, with the cat under my arm
Slight burn to my hand, carpet and wallpaper destroyed and cost me a lot to replace

Fireworks should be banned except for organised displays on November 5th.

We live in a city where lots of cruises leave from, so lots of fireworks.
I have to say I wish they’d make them silent (apparently possible)…
They don’t bother my dogs, both brought up to not be scared of thunder etc… they seem to just sleep through fireworks thankfully.

They might have met up for the football. England won 2-0. We had them going off when the first games of the season were played and won.

We are all working our arses off for what works out as less than minimum wage here. The landowners might be raking it in but I can assure you the farmers really aren't. The industry is exempt from paying minimum wage to workers.

Just had another load of bangs going off for about half an hour. Dog is shaking and scratching every door in fear. I don't understand why as it's grey and dull but not yet dark. What are firework people getting out of it?
