We live in a semi detached house and the garden arrangement is such that the neighbours own the top part of the garden and we own the lower half. The garden slopes quite steeply (until you get to our bit) so they have a terraced arrangement in the main part of their garden. There is a shared path from which we access our garden. There is no other way to access our garden. They also own a small side bit which means they have a strip of garden to the right of the path which is mainly a slope for the first 10 metres. They have recently completely renovated their main terraced part. All of the rubbish from dismantled summer houses, sheds, metal trellises, old furniture etc has been piled up fairly haphazardly on the side sloping part of their garden and has already been there two weeks. Completely filling the sloping side part and piled up to about 2.5 metres high. I don’t feel safe going down the path and I certainly wouldn’t let my small grandchildren go down. Nothing to hold it in place. Anyway, they were supposed to be getting it removed this week but have now decided it is too expensive and won’t be done “anytime soon”. I have already replied to say this is not reasonable and pointing that it is not safe. This doesn’t effect them btw as there is a path down to their terrace. This does not lead to our garden as it ends in a high wall. Any advice welcome.
