Wimbledon ballot - another Oasis style balls up?

I'm having a mare getting into this and wondered how others are getting on.

It got to the point of wanting to verify my email but no verification email came through. This was after several attempts of waiting in line with it counting down.....

It's all depressingly familiar but surely it can't be as bad as last weekend?

I've never tried to get on the ballot before so unsure if this is usual.

Sorry to sound smug but you have asked. I couldnt get through until yesterday evening. Then waited 15 mins in waiting room and then just entered ballot. Was not difficult.
Not sure why verifying email sent. Are you already a member or a new one ? You have till sept 15th to enter anyway

This is why I'm worried because I'm also pre registered, and if I can't be verified now, why would things be different in a few days, or a week?

I have been having exactly the same, then 10 emails came at once 8 hours after it was requested, that's no good as you only have 10 minutes, have tried again today but still haven't received emails from this morning!!!! I'm fuming 😤

Just done it..,,didn’t have to verify anything….just confirmed my details and agreed to t&c and clicked submit….my application confirmation email came straight through

There is no advantage in applying early, so just log in when it’s not so busy. There’s no comparison between the Wimbledon ballot and the Oasis ticket sale.

Thank you, I just checked and mine have all finally come through too, at about 2am which is of course useless, as you say.

Why is it verifying some of us and not others?

The reason I pre registered was to make it easier but it's not easy at all.

I've just tried again and it finally worked. So the secret was to try at an ungodly hour 😅Thanks all for helping me along. Bit stressful, I prefer when codes come through by text rather than email - so unreliable!

It's very easy and the same every year. Yabu. Friend heard so she got tickets. You don't hear unless you successful from previous experience.

If you aren’t successful they notify you when the ballot has completely finished but that is in spring. It’s quite a long process, not all in one go.

If not then you can still get standby tickets or less busy day tickets sometimes
