Can the power of MN help - Shell petrol station, Cwmbran

Long shot, but you never know. We're urgently trying to contact the Shell Petrol Station in Cwmbran with regards to some.lost property. We're using the number found on Google 01633 860205 but it's just going straight to an American sounding voicemail. Does anyone have a different phone number?

I’m assuming it’s the Shell near Cwmbrân stadium? If so, I’ll be in that area at some point next week if I can be of any help

I have just been there (it’s a couple of miles away). There is only 1 person on duty and she confirmed that the phone number is 01633 860205 but said she hadn’t heard it ring. It may be worth trying now but perhaps it automatically goes to the voicemail. I said you were trying to contact the urgently but she was reluctant to do anything and just said to ring tomorrow morning - there will be a manager there from 8 a.m. I can go back and leave a note for them if you DM me with details if that’s possible ( I am new to mumsnet).

Oh my God inaflummox thank you so much. We've just tried again and got the same result. Giving up now and will try again in the morning.

I will be in Worcestershire all day tomorrow but can go to the garage (probably) in the evening or definitely on Sunday if you need anything picked up although it seems you have found a couple of people who are nearby!
