To take DD to minor injuries in the morning

On holiday with DD (4). We was in a picnic area where she fell on a roll of barbed wire which looked like it had been left by a worker of some sort.

It pierced the skin on her knee, you could see the wire under the skin and it had to be taken out. The picnic area was up a mountain, luckily a lady had water and a tissue so we was able to wipe it and it stopped bleeding pretty soon after. Went to the cafe at the bottom of the mountain and used a sterile wipe and placed a plaster on it.

Was going to take her Minor injuries however it closed before we got there and nearest walk in centre or A&E is over an hour away.

DD is no longer complaining of pain and is moving her knee fine, the surface wound is tiny, however being a puncture wound from dirty barbed wire I'm a bit worried it may end up infected.

would I be unreasonable to take her to minor injuries first thing in the morning to just get it looked at?

She is up to date with all jabs so don't need to worry about tetanus

Is there something still in it? Is it deep and the skin gaping?
If not I probably wouldn't go, just keep it clean.

If it doesn't need stitching & she's had tetanus they'll just tell you to keep it clean and keep an eye out for infection. There's minor injury/first aid advice on the NHS 111 website.

We live on a farm and have had many scrapes & run ins with barbed wire & dirt, never had any result in an infection.

If she's had her tetanus then no I wouldn't go
