to honestley wonder, why have children if you WANT to stay home and are not prepared to make ANY sacrifices to provide for them financially?

don't mean parents that HAVE to stay home because they can't afford childcare.

i mean the ones that choose to for no other reason, other than they enjoy staying out of the work place so much.
if you enjoy your hhouse so much, thats great.
but what i really do not understand is why have children?
no one makes any of these parents have children, you can go though life without having children.

this is 100% genuine question, i just do not get it.

No, what about the husband and time together? What about tiredness, sanity etc?

I know a family like this. both parents stay at home (hubby doesn't have a job, and his wife is a WAHM). They are quite happy to scrounge off the state on every benefit going. my hubby goes out to work so we can have a good quality of life, to go holidays etc. If he didn't work either, god help us, we'd be fighting like cat and dog!

well it's true, i honestly don't believe the couples who can live out of each other's pockets and claim never to argue a whole day. i don't understand that. we love spending time together as a couple, but we need to be apart for spates of time to appreciate the time we have together even more.
families that choooose to stay at home and raise their kids without any working prospects are just setting their kids a bad example as they grow older. it probably turns into a scene from the royle family after so long..

I had my baby for the benefits. Then I had another one to get a bigger council flat.
