You can get a reusable swim nappy and use splash about swimming costume with a built in nappy on top.

Like where? Never known anywhere insist on 2 nappies?

Most baby swim lessons require two but never heard of it in leisure centre or holiday pools.

Not unless you're using your baby as an anchor.

Every pool local to me does. I never claimed it was a rule everywhere.

3 children and only ever done reusable swim nappy + swimming costume. I’ve only ever bought 3 swim nappies, they’ve lasted all 3 kids/9 years so far. Zero accidents of any sort.

But yes OP, all swim nappies let the wee out. Thank god for chlorine eh?

I wish they’d enforce it properly in holiday pools. Lots say in the small print they want it but don’t ever actually enforce it. It not difficult and is much better than having to close the pool for loads of people.

If you think they're both the same, do a 15 min cycle in the washing machine with each 😂 start with the swim nappy though

A few months ago I accidentally washed a clean disposable nappy in the washing machine, I was very impressed by how much liquid they can hold!

Same happened to me! 😂 I was also impressed but the nappy literally exploded so it took me forever to clean the washing machine 😲😂

Go on, @Sunahsop , put your baby in a normal nappy in the bath and see what happens 😂😂😂

Toddler DD at LegoLand sat down in the splash zone area of the Duplo World bit. When she stood up her nappy weighed a tonne and was the size of a baby elephant.

I just had a reusable swim nappy as that seemed to be more secure and not a complete waste for 20 minutes of use. For the record I have 3 kids, no swim poos, 2 wees on exit, one of which ended up almost perfectly filling older child's shoe. I also have 1 normal nappy experience and those things absorb a lot of water very quickly! So heavy it just falls off.
