On top of this, it has come to light that they have altered some of the text on their website outlining the Taliban’s abhorrent treatment of females. According to Amnesty International-

women and girls were discriminated against in many ways, for the 'crime' of identifying as a girl

this was amended from the previous iteration of the text which read “being born a girl”.

By that logic, Afghan women and girls are either choosing to be oppressed by identifying as such, or they are not choosing to identify their way out of it (as if that would even be an option).

I truly can’t believe I used to respect them as a charity. When did they decide to stop giving a fuck about females?? How utterly disgraceful.
