To ask what you pay for car insurance?

We are renewing our car insurance. Multi car policy, two 5 year old cars. One does 7000 miles a year and the other 12000. Kept on drive overnight in nice residential area.

I have been driving for 5 years and have no claims in that time.

DH has done advanced driving qualifications but does have one claim from a bump in a car park two years ago.

The cheapest quote we can get is £135 a month / 1600 a year.

Are they having us on or does this sound about right?

Mine is £540 currently which is due to a cunt who was at fault completely denying this so the insurance went 50/50-annoyed doesn't cover it 😡
Last year it was £260.

I renewed yesterday. Renewal with existing insurer was £630, shopped around and went for £585 with DEFAQTO five star policy. Has gone up a lot since last year.

Eight year old Fiesta, maximum NCD, business use.
