Seems expensive but the sale very cheap? Is it worth it?

I've got a 20 year old Regatta waterproof coat, I wear it all winter in all weathers for doing my horses, and hill walking. In that time I've reproofed it once and had a new zip in (for free as the first one died really quickly). It survives all sorts of abuse and just carries on! So yes, IMO a good value coat and worth getting.

@Nourishinghandcream some of the toddler stuff is over 50 quid! I don’t think that is cheap 😂 maybe I am a cheapskate!

In relation to the rest of my outdoor wardrobe they are budget but as I said, they are a reliable brand and I am happy to use them.
A lot of my (and OH) outdoor gear is Berghaus, Jack Wolfskin, Barbour etc and that can be pricey but we are not label snobs and when we find a product we like we will buy it but there is no getting away from the fact that sometimes the more expensive item is a better product.

An example is that OH loves Craghoppers waterproof fabric boots which at anything from £30-£40 are most definitely budget.
Has about four pairs on the go at any one time and practically lives in them. They are lightweight, waterproof, hard wearing, give good grip and extremely comfortable straight out of the box without the need to break them in (which cannot always be said of the expensive boots he used to wear).
