To let my toddler sleep in just a nappy

She is 2.5 and won't go to sleep if there is an.y.thing in the cot. Throws out every blanket, teddy, pillow etc. Then the strip tease starts and she goes mad until I help her remove everything. Some nights she refuses her nappy too. Once she is asleep, I put the blankets on her but feel like I keep waking up all night to pull the blankets back over her.

A grow bag is a definite no-no! Have tried and she breaks out of them in minutes.

It's not very warm where I am and I sleep with a thick duvet and don't feel too warm at all. Sometimes I even sleep with my dressing gown still on so I feel terrible that she ends up sleeping in just a nappy (after she has kicked off the blankets).

Any ideas or suggestions?

If she is staying asleep and not waking up cold at any point in the night then leave her to it. She's obviously fine.
Leave a little blanket at the bottom of her cot (once she's asleep and won't notice it) and she can pull up and cover herself if she wants.

In my experience, a 2.5 year old will wake up if they’re too cold, and is also capable of pulling a blanket back up if they want it. Some people run hotter than others, I absolutely hate being too warm and my DD has always been the same, but DH will wear socks to bed for most of the year.

Thats what my husband says. I layer her up like a lasagne once she is asleep so there are a few blankets for her but she never wakes to pull them up.

She's obviously ok.
I would insist on nappy but if she's happy enough leave her be 🙂

When she refuses the nappy I stealthily put one on when she is asleep, but couldn't manage stealth pyjamas sadly.

Maybe the layers are too much, but she can only manage to remove all or non? I'll experiment with adding just one blanket. If she keeps it on, is better then kicking off several
