This old (approx 70) man has set himself up as some kind of guru. The one time I went to his flat with my (very vulnerable) friend he gave us loads of alcohol. We were both pretty young and he said we could sleep there. He came on my friend's face and attempted to rape me. I have several other friends he has done this to. One friend woke up to his face between her legs (apologies for the TMI, just making clear how disgusting he is)

There have just over the last few days been multiple posts on SM (from men) praising him as a hero and a guru. It just disgusts me and I worry for other young women falling for his spiel but would I get in trouble for saying this on SM? I have no evidence, it's my word against his.

Asking how a situation came about is NOT the same as victim-blaming. I'm really glad you're reporting it, OP, with any luck you will be helping to bring this nasty old predator to justice.

I have no problem with people asking how it happened, I grew up in a subculture which meant no education, a lot of drink and drugs from a (very) young age. Same as my friends. But that did make us vulnerable to predators. And I won't apologise for that, I was only just out of my teens and my friends were too.
