Driving test nerves

I have my driving test in 2 weeks time and I'm really nervous about it! Took my partner out a drive in our car yesterday (baring in mind I haven't drove it on the main road, only used my instructors car) and my partner told me I was nowhere near ready for my test! This really upset me and he said I was being unreasonable by being so upset. My driving instructor has never gave me any indication I'm not ready for my test, but my partner has put a huge dent in my confidence! Am I being unreasonable to be annoyed and upset by his comment? (Sorry for long post)

Oh love I was SO nervous for my driving test!! I failed my first two through sheer panic - cruised over the top of a roundabout on my first, got us both wildly lost on the second as I was so wound up I wasn't processing their instructions! Your partner shouldn't have said that - a lot of driving really does come down to confidence and assurance in what you're doing. Your driving instructor is the expert here, and if they think you are ready then that's who you need to listen to! Your partner needs to remember that the instructors aren't looking at people expecting them to drive like they have been for years and years, they expect nerves! What they're looking for is accurate and safe driving - you've got this 😀 and for nerves, the rescue remedy pastels work wonders!

Take 2 paracetamol tablets before your test. Keep your temp down when you get stressed and flustered... And a Mars bar for an energy boost. I promise you will pass.
Ime.
