Pissed off I’m constantly told I don’t like dogs

One of my friendship groups all have dogs. I don’t like one of the dogs as she quite big and jumps up at you when you enter the room.

My friends always make comments like “I was worried about you with x dog as I know you don’t like them”

Surely I can dislike the actions of one dog and that doesn’t mean I’m scared or hate dogs in general.

Urgh I have this said about me because I have cats I clearly hate dogs I pointed out I love dogs I just CBA with all the walking training poo picking tbh my cats know sit, up, spin and dance my one cat will come running when I call him (the others wont) I trained my old cat to fetch I have a cat who literally indicates with his paw his problem (he banged on my daughters picture when she pissed him off 😂) so it's not that I don't like dogs I don't have TIME for dogs so I train my cats to be more like dogs instead

Anyway she kept banging on about me being a dog hater I said don't be daft everytime eventually her husband tried to "call me out" about me being a dog hater at which point our friends got involved and told them both to pack it in it was bullshit etc etc

It was surprisingly awkward being around her after that
