Has anyone else's 1 year old had severe rash after jabs?

My DD (14 months) had her 1 year jabs on Friday, had a little temperature Friday night and Saturday, gave calpol and no temp since but has been grizzly and tired.

Yesterday she developed a rash that's all over her face, down her back etc it's even on her bottom and underneath.

I know a rash 1 week and 2 weeks later is normal but wondering if anyone else's child had the same so soon after?

Yes my ds did and he went a bit puffy too. All subsided a while after his jags

Not a rash like that but a big red patch on her leg that was getting bigger. Had to get antibiotics from GP.

I'd call and get an appointment for her to get her checked out. Hope she's feeling better soon.

It's normal. After the 13 month jabs, they should have told you...anything from 72 hrs -2 weeks ( typical at 10days).
It's horrible but normal. ( also glands up in neck and generally off colour, with temperature)
It shows that their little bodies are responding appropriately to the vaccine. A robust response suggests a good immunity.

Don't worry, OP, Calpol and TLC with get them through.

Keep an eye on temperature though.
If off food, again, don't worry, offer ice cream, anything they like and can tolerate.

(Practice Nurse of 30 years)

It's still absolutely horrible. Xx

Looks the same as my DS. If you are concerned ring 111 or speak to GP but looks normal to me. (I’m not a doctor)

Also the generalise rash doesn't look like an infective rash, much more like a rubella-type reaction to the vaccine.
I would always add, though, that if your instincts are spiked, to ask for further help. 111 or A&E.
All the best.
