And when I say ‘stopped in my tracks’, I mean online…don’t think it would be terribly acceptable to do it in real life.

For example, today I was looking at different hairstyles for different face shapes, and came upon this photo. Just wow 🤩

Am I alone in this or is this normal?

I think that’s photoshopped to within an inch of its life, but I also think the effect is a bit dopey-looking, with the quiff and the vacant expression…?

I thought the effect was saucy 😆

I agree with a previous poster; the look is vacant, and the quiff is naff.

I definitely admire a look. On a trip to Paris years ago, there was a woman who was just dressed and presented herself amazingly, I was mouth open! I can definitely appreciate a well presented/good looking woman, but it doesn’t mean I’m bi/gay. I’ve told other women how great they look if they really do.

I think women are generally more beautiful than men. But I also thinks cats are more beautiful than men 🤣 And I'm straight. But I'm not sexually attracted to women or cats. Appreciation of beauty and sexual attraction are different things.

@Foamyclouds I think the woman in the photo is beautiful too but in a quite a common /commerical way - as in many people look like her - not a bad thing btw. Just an observation.

ETA: just looked at her instagram and yes she is stunning. Looks a bit younger in her videos than she does in this particular image.

I think it's fascinating what different people identify as extremely beautiful or attractive!

But no, of course just recognising/admiring beauty in any form doesn't have to have any link to your sexuality. I've been 'stopped in my tracks' (by which I mean distracted from what I was doing/turning round to admire/go back to look at/think about afterwards) by a gorgeous view, beautiful sunset, cute puppy, amazing pair of shoes....doesn't mean I'm sexually attracted to any of the above!

How depressing that instead of answering the question you asked, some posters are falling over themselves to say how ugly they think the woman is, or that she must be photoshopped/AI. The photo has been tweaked as it’s a professional shoot, but if you have a look at the model’s Instagram, she is indeed very pretty!

I'm as straight as they come. I do, however, work in an industry full of absolutely beautiful men and women. I appreciate beauty, confidence, and a positive attitude. Together and dressed well it's hard not to notice.

Just because I think or notice a stunning doesn't mean I want to shag her. It's just simple admiration and appreciation.

I have stopped stemages in public and complimented them on the odd occasion. It's nice to be noticed, and if they made an impression I share that with them.

OP I am a million perfect straight but I am more often struck by women’s beauty than men’s. Perhaps she has features that you’d like for yourself? I wouldn’t know what the psychology of it is but I’m sure you’d know if your attraction to her was sexual.

My husband laughed at me today because I got my head turned by a woman, but honestly she was so, so beautiful and striking, dressed absolutely flawlessly and just carried herself with a kind of admirable "fuck you" energy. I was completely straight yesterday, today I'm not so sure 😆

Yes this particular photo is heavily photoshopped for the stylist's Instagram (by the stylist) and not to everyone's taste stylistically, but if you take three seconds to look at the model's Instagram she's a real person and very pretty. Not ugly at all.

@Opine how is saying the hair is weird nasty? The hair style is weird with the big flick thing- clearly that was a decision by the stylist. Her hair itself is fine and her face is very beautiful, as I said. The hair style is criticism of the stylist not the model and it's not to my taste- which is subjective. I'm sure some people would like it.

I wasn’t searching for this person specifically, I was on a website of hairstyles for different face shapes. This was the photograph used on there for one of the hairstyles.

I took it to be more of a modelly-bit-OTT concept for a high swooped fringe, which you would tone down in reality…sort of like this style I guess.

But the question was about whether other hetero women feel like this as well. I posted her photo as an example of someone who sparked the question for me, but I understand everyone has different ideas of beauty.
