Just that. I am so fed up. It is such a drag.
I have myself (eats anything), a 7 year old (eats anything) - we are easy.
I have DH (allergy to dairy) and a weaning baby. That is where is gets more difficult.
Trying to find stuff we all eat is an absolute nightmare and I am so bored of eating the same things all the time and don't like eating junk or overly processed stuff if we can help it. I also work and honestly don't enjoy cooking very much so have no desire to spend ages in the kitchen.

To not drip feed, I also have diagnosed OCD (which I am in treatment for) around food, part of which means I struggle to eat leftovers (or feed them to my family) as my brain sees them as "contaminated" so things like batch cooking are out of the question currently.

PLEASE help! Ideas for easy, healthy meals would be gratefully received!

Current favourites - baked salmon, sweet potato and steamed veg.
Mackerel fillets, new pots and veg,
chicken traybakes (various)
spag bol, chilli, curry.
Shepherds pie (though that is a bit more faff)
soup
jackets

I am finding the same. I meal plan before doing the online shop as I used to just shop and then decide what to make from what we had, and then spent far too much and not have some of the stuff I'd need.

One of my dds is allergic to dairy so I have to factor that in. I buy dairy free cream, butter and cheese and use the first two for all meals, and just use df cheese for dd. It does meal doing two dishes eg cauli & Mac cheese or pasta bake.

Same dd and I have a gluten intolerance and Sainsburys own gf pasta is really good, so I am now slowly replacing our old pasta with it, which is making certain dishes easier.

Week wise, Sunday is a special dinner so a roast or a lamb tagine.

We try to have a meat free Monday, so it would be a daal or a mushroom stroganoff.

I am trying to add fish at least once a week, and a current hit is Steve Backshalls fish curry which I found via a cook on Instagram that I follow, five o'clock apron. Or just a plain baked salmon or cod fillet with new minty buttery potatoes and long stemmed broccoli and green beans.

We have pasta once or twice a week. Usually it's a puttanesca or a prawn pasta, and Jamie Oliver's Buddies tuna pasta is also good, but I tweak it with a spicy prawn recipe I use.

I'll cook a chilli one week and a spaghetti Bolognese the next. Or a lasagne.
We have chicken at least twice a week, so a curry or Korean fried chicken, or just a plain pan fried breast with veggies, or sometimes a kyiv.

I try to make sure we don't have the same protein two days in a row, so we will usually have the fish on a Wednesday.

I made these for dinner one Saturday and they were a huge hit, served with a few salads. www.sainsburysmagazine.co.uk/recipes/picnic/classic-scotch-eggs

How about ramen? Dairy free and you can buy a carton of the broth, which is the faffy part.

Hot water on the noodles, steam or stir fry the veg you want in it, add protein of your choice (salmon, tofu, prawns, chicken, whatever) and top with sliced spring onions and coriander

Grilled pork chops with herb rice and salad.
Chicken & vegetable pasta.

I have a very fussy DD. I feel I just rotate stir fry and chilli. She just won’t eat anything else. I make bolognaise and she eats pasta and garlic bread and leaves the bolognaise.

I’m also at a loss as to what to serve at breakfast; she won’t eat cereal, egg or porridge - any suggestions?!

Get chat gpt to do it! I did this on an extended family holiday where all the mental load falls to me. Told it our likes, dislikes, budget , ingredients available, shops in vicinity etc It writes the recipe and shopping list too!
