Writing and primary - what age?

Ds is n primary school and has just written this about today. What age/primary year do you think this is?

Not sure on years.
We home educate .
Going on our Grandchildren I'd say age 5.

Long time primary school teacher here!

I'm amazed by all the people saying Reception! I can hand on heart say I've seen Reception writers like that... less than 5 times in almost 20 years.
I'd lean more towards a pretty able Year 1, or a fairly average Year 2. I think I'd assume the writer was closer to 7yo than 6yo.

I find that astonishing.

Trained in early years, but spent most of my years in Year 1. Have now done everything from Nursery to year 6.
Worth noting that the majority of my teaching career has been spent in inner city schools with very transient populations, who are often new arrivals in the country.
