My mums dog sniffed my left breast today and has been more clingy with me. He keeps coming next to me aswell and laying with me and crying . I’m freaking out 😭😭😭

Do you have any symptoms or noticed any changes?

Buddysbunda · 26/07/2024 16:58

Did you drop your lunch down your top?

Buddysbunda · 26/07/2024 16:58

Double post

Do a full breast exam that you can find on the Internet. What breed of dog and how old?

MiriamMay · 26/07/2024 17:01

Mine did similar when I was pregnant. Is there any chance you might be?

My cat recoiled away from me just before I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Looked like he'd smelled sewage. This is a common phenomenon I was told. I'd have a good check of your boobs, make sure you've not dropped any food down yourself and if you are at all concerned, see your GP.

^ All of this and other comments. Just go to the GP for an exam. (Unless you discover food! Or have been cuddling other pets). Is it just today?

Shower and change? See what happens…

Don't automatically leap to the worst case scenario. It could be anything - new detergent or deodorant, you've spilled something down yourself, you're unwell, you're coming down with a bug, you have an infection somewhere.

However if you're concerned, make a GP appointment but you can do a full breast check at home to look for any changes, lumps, rashes, changes in your skin etc. too.

thank you. Definitely no way I could be pregnant. He’s 1 and he’s a lurcher. No lumps or bumps that I can feel but my nipple has been itchy :( so worried now

Go and get your itchy nipple checked out. Regardless of anything else, I'm a big advocate of getting any change checked out, however minor. This is a perfect excuse to do so.

Definitely go and get checked.

i do not want to alarm...but my old german shephard knew when our son was about to have a seizure and pinned him down. My first standard poodle , at 6 years old..kept sticking her nose in my crotch. Yup Cervical cancer. probably saved my life the silly old girl.
