To ring mat triage?

Hello all, my midwife is currently on holiday until Tuesday. In my last pregnancy I had obstetric Cholestasis and had to be induced. Last week I started itching on hands and feet and had blood tests on Tuesday and they came back only ‘slightly raised’ drs said no cause for concern as of yet. It’s got so much worse in the last 48hours I’m itching all over the doctors dais they won’t do any more blood tests yet and tell me to wait and see what happens and obviously my midwife is unavailable I was going to ring mat triage and see what they said as last time it was missed until quite late on because of DRs not taking me seriously and my maternity care not being great, but my friend told me it was only for emergency’s I’m not sure if this classes as an emergency but as it’s the weekend tomorrow I’m a little on edge. Should I be ringing up or am I overthinking because of last time. Sorry if I’m being silly

Give them a call. Hope you get the care you need. They can do bloods and give you meds to help, please ring them.

You’re not being silly at all and yes I’d phone them now. Better to be safe. Hope you’re okay.

Definitely ring. They are there for emergencies and to determine if they think you need treatment. You have had something previously had returning symptoms and can't contact your midwife. That's exactly what they are there for

It’s nothing to do with your friend
it’s nothing to do with a load of random era on here

You know, you feel, something is not right. You know the number to ring .. trust yourself, as an adult.

Definitely ring them. Do not be afraid to kick up as much fuss as you need to, you were the only one in your body when this happened to you previously so you're the only one who truly knows the warning signs for you. Trust your instinct. So so much better to over react (if you are) than under react.

What's the worst that will happen if you have tests done and it turns out there's no huge problem? A bit of time spent getting blood taken, and that's pretty much it.

What's the worst that can happen if there's a problem that you ignore because you don't want to bother people in case it turns out to be nothing?

I'd call them. I'm sure they won't mind at all.
