I bought a pack of nurofen plus at an independent local pharmacy yesterday. Just opened the pack to discover 4 completely empty blister packs and 3 large metal nails taped together presumably to create weight.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Take a pic and send to the manufacturer, as well as taking it back to the shop.
You do get opiate addicts who work in the factory or supply chain who swap them. I've never seen it, but in extreme cases you get people swapping liquid morphine drips for saline in hospitals!

Hi this has happened to me twice in a year at the same pharmacy. I done the right thing reporting it to them, the second time it happened I just went in to give them the box so they could investigate as I felt there was an issue in there pharmacy I never once asked for a replacement or a refund and they called the police and told them they believed I had done it. I’m now in the process of reporting it myself because there’s an issue and it’s dangerous and they didn’t want to know
