I'm on anti hypertensives , in a hot
Country but drinking absolutely loads of water.
My whole upper and lower eyelids/ eye bags look like little water sacs !!!
I feel great! Sleeping well, walking and swimming lots, good diet but Jesus I've ages twenty years overnight.
Is this normal ?
First time on sun and extreme heat since I started the medication.
Ankles and other areas not swollen. Mild retention but nothing unusual .

Salt intake can do this, if I eat really salty food my under eyes can be puffy. Also alcohol.

Look up gua sha and lymphatic drainage massage for face and neck. Follow a video on YouTube. It goes away really quickly if you do that. I find if I do face and neck massage before bed I don't wake up puffy either. I have one of the jade tool things, not the roller the other one. I have no idea if these things are as anti aging as they claim but they definitely do get rid of water retention in the face.

Hot weather makes me look like a burst sofa. My body struggles to regulate my temperature (due to underlying health conditions/medication) and as soon as it’s warmer than 18 degrees, my face puffs up like you wouldn’t believe.

I have been thoroughly enjoying this cold weather because I usually spend June - September looking like a slice of Billy Bear ham.

I'm on BP meds too. Even though it has been a comfortable temperature today here, I'm still waddling around on swollen ankles like an oedematous hippo in search of its watering hole.

I have had under eye bags since my high chair so can't comment on those.

Don't I sound lovely? 😂
