Following on from another thread where the poster had her ears unblocked and it felt amazing (I agree!!) what other small things really satisfy you and make you 😁

I love it when it’s hot and you can get your laundry dried in a couple of hours on the line.

I love it when I’ve finished cleaning the house and I can sit back and have a cuppa.

Waking my DC up on a morning and kissing their lovely cosy heads.

Having a hot bath on a cold winters day and topping up the hot water until I can barely stand the heat.

Sitting all cosy and warm when it’s raining outside and listening to the rain on the window.

The scent of my roses on the breeze while I’m gardening. It’s just a delicate, almost tantalising trace of the very heady and rich perfume of sniffing the flowers themselves.

I love the way a few roses in a bud vase can make the house smell nice, but that gentle hint of rose when the breeze is in the right direction is particularly lovely.

Cats purring as I fuss them and that cute trilling noise they do, my favourite sound in the world.
