Pain in hips, neck and lower back

I’m 35 and feel like an old person. I get up from a chair and my hips are so painful. My neck and upper shoulder hurts when I wake up in the morning and my lower back hurts all the time.

I don’t know what to do or what it could be.

Do you spend a lot of time sitting?
If so tight hip flexors & posture tightening the muscles in your back can cause these sorts of things.
Look up mobility exercises on TikTok or YouTube. Hip mobility and thoracic spine mobility movements coukd really help.

I've been like this recently.

An oesteopath has been helping.

I'd had pain on RS when breathing which I didn't mention but he said my right side rib cage wasn't moving when I breathed.

Time to start taking a good quality omega 3.

Look up Polymyalgia.

Are you under a lot of stress? Had a trauma?

Are you taking a joint supplement and doing regular light exercise?

Have you thought about perimenopause and taken supplements to support that?

And get your bloods checked through GP. I had low iron and vit d.

I have a friend whose pain resolved with vitB and iron.

Mine did not and I was eventually diagnosed with a chronic condition.

So seriously look after yourself. It's a long time to feel old!

There's lots of things you could try

See a doctor
Self refer to physio (if that's a thing where you are)
Try yoga or pilates
Try massage
Try osteo
Try being more active, if you are very sedentary

Nobody here can diagnose what's wrong, but something is - you should not be feeling like that, especially at your young age.
