To ask where to buy Dublin Eras tour tickets

Sorry for the AIBU! But I am confused why there isn’t a stub hub or Viagogo option to buy resale Taylor Swift tickets for Dublin? There is for all the other European dates but with work commitments I can literally only make Sunday 30th June in Dublin. I never received a code and I know I’ll be paying crazy prices but honestly I work really hard and never spend any money on myself or go on any fancy holidays so I’m willing to treat myself for this!

Facebook pages are full of scams and it’s just so hard to find info 😢

oh no! Fingers crossed something comes up on resale for you for dublin

i signed up last year for code and got put on the code waitlist- had basically given up. Sheer luck I had my phone in my hand when the email came to say I had got a code so I went on via link the sent me. It came up with ticket options and for ages it just kept saying sorry none found no matter which tickets I selected and then after I don’t know how long it came up with them- I snapped them up without even looking at where they were!! Restricted view but we could see whole catwalk stage x

I have one ticket for sale for Sunday 30 June in Dublin.

I could have written this post as can't find a listing on viagogo or stub hub either! I've requested the listing but no notifications yet.

I can't seem to list on twickets as you have to be able to transfer the ticket straightaway. You can't transfer until 48 hours prior to the event via Ticketmaster so would have to list on Friday.

Any help to list would be appreciated!

If this is still available I would totally take if off your hands. My fiancée missed out on the ticket sale, and has been looking ever since. Time is ticking now 😅
There are so many online scams though, we narrowly avoided a couple, so I'd make the drive to anyone selling so we could do the transfer in person in order to keep both parties safe from scams 😊

I'm happy to explore selling to OP hence my earlier post asking how many tickets OP was looking for!

Appreciate everyone is being cautious of scammers though!

Sellers of tickets could can scammed too... you transfer the ticket and no money appears.

Buyers of tickets can get scammed... you transfer the money and no ticket appears!

Hey is this still available? Desperately looking for a ticket!🤞🤞

ilovepixie · 25/06/2024 19:01

I don't understand the attraction either! People paying crazy money for tickets. It's like FOMO!

millymoo1202 · 25/06/2024 19:05

I’m flying to Dublin on Friday from Scotland with my adult daughter to see her and can’t wait. I’m 52, haters are gonna hate!

Why have normally sane people totally lost their minds over a concert?

I think it's the hype on TikTok.

I bought Coldplay tickets for the 2022 concert in Wembley and I woke up late on the day they were released, joined the queue an hour or so after the release time and managed to get tickets quickly...

Tour kicked off and BOOM!!! Tiktok blew up the Coldplay tour and EVERYONE and their dog wanted tickets. They released new dates for the tour and me and my friend said we would love to go again later in the tour so I joined the queue on release day for tickets and there was nearly 350,000 people infront of me!

The only difference was the Tiktok hype.

Same with Take That and P!nk.
Altho the TS hype is bigger than I imagine anyone would've thought it could be.

I mean who knew there was sooooo many Taylor Swift fans 🤣

HandsDown84 · 26/06/2024 07:35

Taylor is the 8th bestselling act of all time so to be fair there have always been a lot of Taylor Swift fans!

This is very true!! I wasn’t a die hard swiftie from the beginning but 1989 came out when I was at uni and it was all I listened to for about 3 years, then same when Lover came out I was obsessed, the fomo has definitely escalated my want to see her but I think a lot of us who were already fans have been swept away with the hype as the concert looks so incredible!!

I (successfully!) bought tickets off social media for one of her Edinburgh dates. The thing that convinced me the seller was genuine was she sent me a screen recording of her going from our conversation (on Instagram) to the ticketmaster app, loading the ticket up on the app and pressing the transfer button and writing my name in the form you fill in to transfer the tickets. I paid via Paypal Goods and Services so if the tickets didn't materialise then I would be able to claim my money back via them. I was happy to pay a bit extra for the additional Paypal fees (think its about 5%) to get this assurance. Good luck!

That’s amazing congrats and thank you so much for the advice!! Did you still have to pay way over face value? A mumsnetter has offered me tickets but 4 x over face value 🥺 I’m wondering whether to just keep trying Ticketmaster , or does anybody know if it’s easier to get tickets while outside the stadium? I’m thinking surely there must be loads of people needing to sell their tickets if stubhub and viagogo aren’t options, so surely lots will come up on Ticketmaster?!

Op don’t lose hope of a code- I got a code on a Friday to use on Saturday tickets at Wembley and just kept trying over and over on the website link they sent until two tickets came up for sale!

also I have liked Taylor swift since her first album. Her music has grown with her and with me in terms of what she’s singing about, don’t get why a young tween would get half the stuff she’s talking about in most of her songs. for me it resonates with situations I’ve been through precisely because I’m older! But as pp said its each to their own , don’t get why people come on these threads just to point out how ridiculous Taylor swift fans are

good luck OP! Xx

@babypeach peach did you get the code because you signed up for the tickets last year? I'm desperate for two tickets for myself and my 10yr old daughter, she is a fanatic and i am since Folklore. Two of my daughters friends recently got tickets but they wouldn't be fans, she gutted. We had two tickets for Liverpool but they weren't together. I have entered every competition I have found. Im willing to pay abit more over the original price but don't know where to get them.

hurlyburlygirly · 26/06/2024 23:07

We're going and are lucky to have paid just over £80 per ticket face value for Wembley in pretty decent seats. I'm going for the experience and the atmosphere more than anything. Dp is definitely the fan of the two of us but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. She's a really skilled entertainer. Everyone I know who's been has enjoyed it.

We've also seen the foo fighters, Bruce Springsteen and various other things. All brilliant in completely different ways. Live music in a big crowd can be great fun.

CatLady1994 · 27/06/2024 02:26

@Friedbanana

The tickets I bought were one of the VIP packages that included the merch box etc, so they were quite expensive, but while they were pricey they weren't being sold at over face value. I paid slightly more than they were being advertised at to cover the PayPal fees.

I didn't see anyone selling tickets outside the stadium when I went in Edinburgh, but I have seen posts on TikTok from people who managed to get last minute tickets that way - might be worth a trip on the day if you haven't managed to get tickets any other way if you are local.

If you're on Reddit there is a dedicated sub for resale tickets r/erastourtickets - they don't allow people to advertise tickets at more than 50% higher than face value. Always loads of posts on there but the tickets do go quickly.

Also check @ erastourticketz on twitter - All tickets advertised on there are verified. I can see a few Dublin ones have been advertised today.

I would check twickets religiously as well, especially over the next few days when people may have last minute changes of plans. Now that ticket transfer has been opened up for Dublin I would imagine you will see a load more tickets go up for sale on these unofficial sites.

It was an amazing show so totally worth the faff of getting tickets in my opinion! She was great of course but the atmosphere in general was epic, everyone was lovely and SO into the dressing up/exchanging friendship bracelets, singing/dancing to every song, was a brilliant gig all round. I'm half considering trying to get some tickets for when she's back in London in August so I can go again!!

Sweeper2024 · 27/06/2024 13:51

Thank you @Friedbanana I would do anything at this stage to get a ticket. Any more tips are welcome!
Myself and my daughter have our outfits ready, bracelets. I have lost count how many times we have watched her concert on TV. I always liked dancing around to Taylor but I really got into her when Folklore came out over covid, myself and my husband are big National fans. She is so talented and that's coming from my husband who is massive Pearl Jam fan. We will have to have a TayTay party at home if we don't get tickets!
