To wonder why the UK is so filthy compared to other places?

Everywhere I've visited recently in Europe seems immaculate compared to my home city and other cities I visit for work etc. even the US seems better. What's going on??

Really think filth in public places is at the heart of a lot of our problems.

London is most certainly not cleaner than Paris or Rome!

I think a lot of people have zero pride or they think it's someone else's job to clear up the mess they make.

There's a small playpark in front of my house. Swings, slide, grassy area, seats, 6 bins.

I see Mum's (and Dads sometimes) take their kids in to play, sit next to a bin, eat and drink then leave the wrappers and empty bottles or cartons on the ground or on the seat. 2 foot away from an empty bin.

Trash make trash.

As a member of the local litter picking group, we always find and pick Red Bull cans.

We believe that there is an ingredient in the RB which makes people stupid and throw them everywhere. For every 100 cans we pick up of RB we probably pick 20 of the rest.

Worrying is the number of booze bottles and cans we find in lay-bys, industrial estates and by passes.

Same, was in Australia last year abd couldn't believe how clean it was, also in Berlin and Eindhoven and both were spotless. I like in Dublin and the city centre is filthy, rubbish everywhere, sad to see it like that and never noticed as much.
