Farage was the main mover behind Brexit which weakened the UK and EU which led to Putin thinking he could stroll into Ukraine and pose his own will. Farage had a programme on the Russian TV channel RT so we know he was happy to take russian money.

Brexit also undermined the post WWII spirit in Europe so to hear farage lecturing rishi sunak on dday was particularly ironic.
