Bit baffled by some of the headlines today about how private school kids have a lot more green space than state school kids.

Not saying this is a fair situation, but...doh....!!! ... is this really news, or more to the point a surprise??? Surely this is bleeding obvious, for anyone who has even walked past a private school?? A large part of why parents pick them is precisely so their kids get access to more sports fields and grounds and the like?
Pretty similar to saying 'rich people have bigger houses than people in council houses', or 'five star hotels have nicer rooms than one star hotels', and pretending this is eye-opening news, in my book....?
Also a bit sad the immediate reaction is to ask those schools to comment, the implication being they need to cut down. Would make more sense to me to ask the Education ministers what they are doing to improve access to green space for the state school kids, taking space away from the private school kids won't fix the problem for the others.
