It's a next door neighbour one

Next door had a huge extension built last year.
They seem to employ cheap builders who don't know what they are doing. They chucked one lot of builders off the job and had to get someone else in to fix and finish off.

Was about 8 months of noise, we had a few grumbles but put up with it as it's a noisy job.

They have now started on the garden.

They have removed the fence and have dug a huge trench along our boarder. We have quite a few mature plants and bushes along that side.

I went to look today and it seems like our garden is now sloping into theirs. I'm not sure if this is normal, will be rectified but was wondering if anyone could advise me before I speak to them?

For context they can be a bit arsey, we had a builder here one day (before their works) and after literally 5 mins of drilling they were banging on our door complaining about the noise!

Any advise would be appreciated, thanks.

its Theirs to replace however they like. It's just the digging I'm worried about and my garden sinking.

No it is not normal.

I would go on the Garden Law forum.

I've had that. The neighbour was actually being nosey the first time. The second time I told the neighbour to make a noise complaint to the council.

No, the sloping isn’t normal.
You’ll have to ignore the arseyness and go round and ask them to stop whilst you work out how to rectify it.
Agree with PP you need legal advice.
Your property may have the benefit of a covenant that next door don’t do anything to affect the ‘lateral support’ given to your property. That means not digging so deeply your garden sinks.
