To want to make that child clear up her own mess?

Lighthearted as it's 6.45 am, but...

Ther's an advert for astonish cleaning chemicals products, 'narrated' by a 'cute' girl, who thinks fairies come along and clear up after she's dropped her ice-crream, and spilt a blackcurrant dring. The parents just shrug after the accidents and pull out the cleaneing products.

I want to scream. Let's further reinforce that kids don't need to clear up mess, or take responsibility. And no, having the bloke cleaning the mirror doesn't ameliorate the ridiculousness of the messaging!

I dislike all adverts that depict badly behaved kids as ‘cute’
There's one where the child (not a toddler)has drawn all over the adult in sharpie, no one would really think that was funny and ok in real life.
I agree with you.

Similarly, my mum refused to watch Outnumbered because "those kids just need a good clip round the ear".
